During the pandemic, human lives were profoundly impacted beyond health, affecting the very existence of humanity. Wage earners struggled to meet their families' basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter ("roti, kapda, makaan").

Jayanthi, a member of "Chotti Si Asha", faced similar challenges during her journey into motherhood. She has a family of six members, comprising her husband (an auto driver), 3 children, and her mother-in-law; all are financially dependent on Jayanthi’s husband's income. While talking to us, she recounted their financial crisis, exacerbated by COVID-19. Her husband was the only breadwinner in the family, and his income stopped when lockdown happened.

However, a turning point arrived when Liza, the founder of "Chotti Si Asha," informed her about a bulk order from Bebo Technologies for mask production. This opportunity proved to be a blessing in disguise, significantly improving their family's situation.

Jayanthi expressed how receiving orders from the bebo Foundation for their exhibitions became a source of joy and hope, akin to a festival for them. Each time they prepared products for bebo members, it not only boosted their sales but also revitalized their spirits, both online and offline.

By supporting the artisans of Chhoti Si Asha, we are promoting indigenous crafts of - embroidery, stitching, weaving, and crochet, helping women rise above the odds of society and supporting their families to grow and develop while having a better living standard where they are able to educate their children and provide them basic resources to build a prosperous future. Other than this, they were able to train 400 women with the support provided.

I have been here for 15 years. The journey I have taken with Mrs. Promila Chandra Mohan for this institute, SOREM, where we have children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual disabilities, has been very personal. I have a 24-year-old young man with autism, and when I came to Promila Ma'am, she asked me if I could join her. That’s how we started with autism services. This was in 2009. We began our journey by interacting with different people and coming into contact with various individuals. In 2014, we got in touch with bebo Technologies. I still remember Kirpaljit Kaur Ji visiting us. She met our founder, Promila Chandra Mohan, and generously came forward to support us, whether it was for vocational items, infrastructure needs, or children's education.

Later, we had an exhibition at their center where we showcased the vocational products made by our children. I have met many corporate people in my life, as our school depends on contributions from people and communities around us. Throughout this journey, the generosity and commitment from bebo Technologies have been exceptional. I am deeply touched by their support and gestures, including gifts for our staff. Even when we were not recognized by many, they were among the first to support us.

I fondly remember when we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our founder's work in this field. At that time, they came forward and arranged refreshments for the event, which seemed impossible to us at one point. bebo Technology feels like a home to us. All I can conclude from having worked with them for over a decade is that they are "Committed People". We believe in inclusivity, and we embody this principle in all our efforts to support those in need. When we came across these special souls, we were reminded of how blessed we are to witness the beauty in their eyes and the purity in their hearts. Meeting these kids inspires us to do even more.

Water, an essential resource for human life, is increasingly scarce in Africa, as the ecosystem suffers from water crises over decades due to ecological imbalances. The problem of water scarcity casts a shadow over the well-being of people. With 1 in 3 individuals in the African region affected, our hearts go out to the African community, and our foundation stepped forward to provide financial. Assistance for the construction of 10 wells across different parts of West Africa. This initiative aims to bring relief and sustainable water access to needy communities. Pastor Jonathan Adeboye and his wife expressed their heartfelt gratitude for our support:

A smile can transform a moment, a day, and even a life. As an organization, we have always believed in touching as many lives as possible, and our global presence has given us the opportunity to spread smiles among children in Mexico. On Christmas Eve, a time of love, joy, and giving, we conducted a toy distribution drive. Christmas is a magical time filled with excitement and wonder, especially for children. By organizing this drive, we hoped to bring the magic of the season to underprivileged children, creating lasting memories of joy and happiness.

During this heartwarming event, we were able to support 45 underprivileged kids, and the impact was evident in the bright smiles and twinkle in their eyes. The purpose of this drive went beyond simply distributing toys. We aimed to support the emotional and cognitive development of these children, who are the future of our nation. By lifting their spirits, we tried to give them hope for a better future.

This drive was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved, reaffirming our commitment to empowering communities for a brighter tomorrow. We feel truly blessed to be a source of hope and joy, extending our helping hand to those in need and always striving to make a positive difference.
